Who is Mira?
Mira is an Artist, Activist, and Troublemaker. Their career began in the performing arts community in Calgary, AB as a Technical Director & Production Manager.
It was through the arts that Mira developed a fierce passion for community. Realizing that the many ways we survive and thrive are due to the collective labour of our friends, family, colleagues, and comrades.
As a radical Transsexual, Mira pushed to have their career turn towards serving the Queer & Trans community. This led them to the not-quite radical world of non-profit…
They hope to create space for all marginalized people by helping to break down the systems that oppress us all.
